The Gen Z and U.3 to M.2 SSD Adapter convert is a small circuit board that can be plugged into any M.2 slot and provides a connection to a U.2 cable for attaching an NVMe drive. The circuit board comes with a connector for attaching an 80mm cable with SFF-8639 connectors on both ends, which can be easily connected to any compatible PCIe slot or backplane. The converter board is based on a synchronous buck power supply design, which enables it to provide the necessary power for most PCIe M.2 SSDs. It supports 4A maximum output current and has short circuit protection, in-rush current suppression and thermal shutdown protection functions built in. The adapter is made of high-quality materials, durable with excellent heat dissipation performance, so it can work stably during long time running and with low noise level as well.
