The SlimSAS 8i PCIe 4.0 to U.2 (SFF-8639) SSD Dual Port Adapter is a high-performance device designed to convert U.2 dual ports to SlimSAS 8i (SFF-8654). With a built-in SlimSAS 8i connector and 15” pin-out defined by SFF-9402 Rev1.1, this adapter is a reliable solution for your storage needs. The adapter features two U.2 SFF-8639, 30” connectors, providing the ability to connect two U.2 NVMe SSDs for increased performance and capacity. The built-in 12V Hot Plug Power with eFuse protection ensures the safety of your data, while the programmable current limit and inrush current slew rate provides efficient power management. In addition, the adapter is equipped with thermal shutdown protection and fault alert for increased reliability and performance. The back-to-back (B2B) FET operation supports the U.2 to PCIe CLKREQ# and WAKE#, while the built-in SMBus Hot Swappable 2-Wire Bus Buffer ensures smooth operation. The SlimSAS 8i BP_TYPEA and BP_TYPEB Pull up are supported for Broadcom 95xx PCIe 4.0 MegaRAID and HBA Tri-Mode Storage Adapters, as well as the SlimSAS 8i CPRSNTA# and CPRSNTB# Pull Low.
