It operates well with multiple operating system. It boot the OS directly without any need of additional drivers and doesn't affect the SSD speed.
The adapter supports hot-plugging, which means that the SSD can be inserted or removed without having to power down the computer.
It is a cost-effective solution for upgrading an older desktop computer with a high-speed SSD, without having to replace the entire system.
