The adapter is equipped with a PWM synchronous buck converter Power IC which ensures maximum output current of 3A. Additionally, the adapter offers several protection features including short circuit protection, in-rush current suppression and thermal shutdown protection for added safety. It also features ESD HBM (Human Body Mode)/2KV for added protection against electrostatic discharge.
The adapter is compatible with several form factors of M.2(NGFF) SSD including Type 2230-D2-B-M (30mm(L) x 22mm(W)), Type 2242-D2-B-M (42mm(L) x 22mm(W)), Type 2260-D2-B-M (60mm(L) x 22mm(W)), and Type 2280-D2-B-M (80mm(L) x 22mm(W)).
This adapter is also compatible with several storage devices including Intel 530 Series M.2 SSD and compatible storage, SanDisk X110 M.2 SSD and compatible storage, and Micron M500 Series M.2 SSD and compatible storage.
