Intel NUC RS232 LID
The Intel NUC RS232 LID is an excellent NUC accessory designed to enhance the functionality of the Intel NUC (Next Unit of Computing) mini PC platform. Specifically, this LID by GORITE adds a serial port to the NUC system.
This feature enables the NUC to communicate with legacy devices that require RS232 serial communication with a DB9 Connection for and appropriate accessory cable.
The NUC RS232 LID has a small PCB (printed circuit board) in the GORITE LID that is installed onto the top of the NUC unit. It is connected to the NUC MB with a 4-Pin connector cable that attaches to one of the NUC internal USB 2.0 headers on the MB. Once installed GORITE NUC accessory the D-Sub 9 Pin RS232 serial port can now be used for communication with serial devices such as barcode scanners, printers, and other industrial equipment.
Overall, the Intel NUC RS232 LID is a compact size, easy installation, and compatibility with various NUC models that make it a convenient permanent fixed solution for adding RS232 serial connectivity to the NUC.
This GORITE NUC Accessory is compatible NUC8 and newer NUC Models.
