SlimSAS 4i PCIe 4.0 to M.2 NVMe SSD Adapter is the latest in a line of next-generation storage adapters. The SlimSAS 4i features an x4 PCI Express 4.0 interface that supports two lanes at 8 Gbps, allowing up to 2 GB/s of bandwidth in each direction for 4 GB/s. This makes it ideal for high-performance graphics editing and VR workstations, where the speed of the host bus can make a noticeable difference in overall performance. The SlimSAS 4i supports both SAS and SATA drives in either 12 Gbps SAS or 6 Gbps SATA mode, allowing you to connect any standard hard disk drive (HDD) or solid-state drive (SSD) with a standard SAS or SATA connector to your computer's PCIe slot. It's also backward compatible with any 2x PCIe slot that supports PCIe Gen 2, so it can be used with older motherboards or laptops without upgrading them first.
