40G QSFP+ QSFP+ Passive Cable - 1 Meter
QSFP+ (Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus) Cable Assemblies are suitable for very short distances and offer a highly cost-effective way to establish a 40-Gigabit link between QSFP+ ports of QSFP+ switches within racks and across adjacent racks. QSFP+ cables are used for 40 GbE and Infniband standards, to maximize performance.
The cable features four small form-factor pluggable (SFP) connectors on each end, which use the Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus (QSFP+) interface. This interface supports a maximum data transfer rate of 40 Gigabits per second (Gbps) per channel, resulting in a total data transfer rate of up to 160 Gbps for the entire cable.
The cable is designed to be a passive, copper-based solution, meaning that it does not require any power source to function. This makes it a cost-effective and energy-efficient choice for data centers and other environments that prioritize sustainability.
The cable's construction consists of four pairs of high-quality, twisted-pair copper wires, which are individually shielded to minimize crosstalk and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
