The Cable assembly is for a Micro SATA 1.8-inch form factor Solid State Drive (SSD) or Hard Disk Drives (HDD). SATA Cable is 6 inches length. The Power cable is 4 inches in length.
The Micro SATA connector is a 16 positions socket, including 7 positions with 1.27 mm pitch for signal and 7+2 positions with 1.27 mm pitch for power requirements. The 7 pin SATA receptacle connector supports system data applications. The 15 pin SATA Female connector for power can be used for both 5V or 3.3V drives. The 15 pin Male plug the cable plug connects to needs to support both 5V and 3.3V .
The power supply must provide a 3.3V source of power for this cable to operate your 3.3V Micro SATA drive.
