I didn't know that there were differences in the interfaces for SSD cards. Be careful when ordering an adapter. Make sure that you know what you need. I have now ordered my fourth adapter, mSATA to 44pin IDE. I thought all 1.8" cards were SATA, silly me. I purchased this for use in a notebook. I believe this adapter is hard wired for "Master" or "Cable Select." Either way, the DVD drive, set to slave on the primary IDE channel didn't work when using this. However, the uSATA drive functioned wonderfully.Price Shipping Quality
I also tried it in another notebook, but it didn't work in that system at all.
So, yes, depending on your system, this is a good product. If there is ever a 2nd revision of this, I would suggest the addition of a Master/Slave/CS jumper. (Posted on 5/9/2014)
